Delete your account
You can permanently delete your family's YouGoodAI account right from the app, in under a minute. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what to do if you can't sign in anymore.
Delete from the app
Account deletion is done by the parent (the account that created the family), because deleting the family removes every member's account with it.
- Open the YouGoodAI app and sign in with your parent account.
- In guardian mode, tap the settings gear at the top of the screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete family account.
- Confirm twice. Deletion is immediate.
What gets deleted
- Your account and every kid's account in your family
- All safety rules and settings
- All activity history and safety-event records
- Notification preferences and any saved API keys
Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. If you come back later, you'll be starting fresh.
What about conversations?
There are no conversations on our servers to delete. Messages pass through YouGoodAI on their way to the AI and back; we never store them (the full story is in Privacy, in plain words). Chat history lives only on your family's own devices. To remove it, delete conversations inside the app or uninstall the app from each device.
If you can't sign in
Lost access to your account, or want deletion handled for you? Email support@yougoodai.comfrom the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify it's really you and confirm when it's done.
